Marthernor - Music Instructions
About
Dear Parents & Students,
I am a piano/guitar teacher who loves and enjoys teaching people of all ages interested in learning music as whole. I believe that patience, persistance, collaboration, empathy, adaptability, and good communication are one of the qualities that make a nurturing environment for the student to grow and nourish their abilities and capacities to learn the instrument and music iteself. Moreover, I strongly believe that theory, music history, technique, ear traning, interpretation, and analysis are the main components for practicing an instrument, and to deeply understand music and as consequence build a strong relationship with the instrument.
I have 6 years of experience in the teaching field with a focus on piano and guitar, and I continue to enjoy teaching students until the present.
- The engagement, interest, and involvement to the instrument and the development of a relationship between the student and his/her instrument, will not only ingrain habits, resulting in a positive attitude and qualities for you, but also the confidence to continue progreessing is one of the passions I have while watching all students succeed.
The qualities of self-improvement, discipline, pride, confidence and an attitude brings goodness to your personality. Will indeed make me thrilled and satisfy with my work.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process consist of choosinga curriculum that fits the student's need consisting of,
1) Lesson Book
2) Theory Book
3) Technique Book
4) Recital/Performance Book
6) Ear training Book
7) Reading & Writting Book.
8) Etudes - Czerny/Hannon/Mikrokosmos
9) Sheet Music - 1-3 musical pieces to study with me.
It all depends on what the student is interested in learning, but generally speaking. The lessons can systematically consist of only lesson book - Alfred, or Faber Method that will eventually lead upong completing 3-4 books to study with me the "sheet music" - Classical pieces, or music of your choosing.
Notice, that students will first be examined before making a mutual decision.
