Kathy Fisher has been an outstanding teacher. She is more than a fine flutist and talented musician, she is a true teacher. Patient, attentive, and courteous, she cares about her students and her art. She is a credit to her profession.
I really learned to play piano. I am an adult and did not know how to play when I started. Kathy Fisher, in my very first lesson, gave me the confidence I could learn. She is patient, taught me the basics to read and understand music, how to use technique, and have fun doing it. I have now reached the intermediate level.
I like to discuss there background and see what direction they are interested in pursuing in music. What goals do they want to pursue such as playing in orchestra or band, or if piano accompanying other performers.
