Private Piano Lessons
About
I take a uniquely personal approach to every one of my clients. I make sure to know something about each of my students, and assess, as I go along, what I think would work best for them. I understand the importance of getting to know individual learning styles. How individuals learn is, essentially, the bridge between what is being relayed and what is being received.
I enjoy getting to know a variety of people who share my interests. I enjoy relaying my passion for music and playing the piano.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to really get to know students personally, as well as their musical goals. Connecting with someone on a personal level allows me to get to know their learning style, and makes my job easier. I love the opportunity for conversation, among one-on-one students. This may stray from the lesson plan, but I'm a personal fan of the tailor made Montessori method.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up taking private piano lessons. I have had several music classes in college, including a history of concert music. I feel like I have a good understanding of what makes for a quality performance and grasp of piano music.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
If a lesson goes on for half an hour- 45 minutes, that is only $20, with additional travel fees that may apply. $30 is my minimum fee per hour.
