Everyone has different learning style and speed. What makes sense to you isn't someone else's preferred style. I tune each lesson to you and your productivity. I stay extended time with students for no extra charge to ensure clarity in lesson material.
Teaching is an art form similar to music, it stimulates the brain and gives reward to those who keep an open mind.

35 dollars for an hour, I expect to go longer as practice shouldn't have a time frame. On average expect to stay an hour and fifteen minutes at least. No charge expected unles we did an hour more then it'd be half price for that FULL hour.
Teachers are all different and finding one for you would be difficult if musicians and artist weren't so chill and refreshing people to be around. Teachers and musicians are more than often interesting, engaging, and inspiring. The real mistake one could make is not being willing to listen and absorb.
Don't feel ashamed to bring what you think is a silly question, or a question ypu need to ask again because you still don't quite understand. Performing music, signing in public, and music theory in general isn't rocket science but it also isn't a walk in the park. Coming ready with questions shows eagerness, head strength, and willingness to take on the achievable.
