The Guitar Shop in Rosemount located on County road 42, has 9 very experienced Guitar and Piano teachers that teach all styles of music. We have 5 private lesson rooms located in our Music store. All our teachers have passed background checks, all our rooms are monitored and recorded. The Lessons are 30 minutes or 60 minutes and are weekly. Once you sign up, your time and day are reserved for the month. You pay by the month. All payments are charged on auto-pay on the first business day of the month. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The teachers will sit down at the first lesson and talk about goals. During the 1/2 hour weekly lesson they will go over what they talked about and give homework to practice until the next weekly lesson. First Lesson is always free!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of our teachers have over 25 years experience and have taught 1000s of students. They have degrees in Music performance.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$35 for 1/2 hour lessons. Lessons are paid by the month. At the end of the Month you are emailed a invoice for the next month.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with all students. Ages from 5 yrs and above. We have teachers that have special training with young students and Students with disabilities.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a Music School that offers full service! A teacher that can offer a reduced price isnt always the best choice. The Guitar Shop can make sure your Guitar is in perfect playing condition. We help students with re-stringing and maintaining your instrument.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Make it fun for the students! We find kids love coming to The Guitar Shop to be around musicians and the atmosphere.
