I've trained in multiple martial arts for more than 14 years. I've taught students ranging in ages from 3-40 years old for 8 years. I have 4 different black belts as well as fight experience in both controlled environments as well as real life self defense situations.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Classes are paid for on an hourly basis. There will be packages as well for multiple classes and multiple students.
How did you get started teaching?
I had already obtained multiple blackbelts and competed before the end of highschool, and during college I was looking for part time jobs to help with tuition. I found a martial arts dojo - Mid-America Karate in Fayetteville, AR; where I could teach as a part time job. I found that I was great at teaching with young kids, and had the knowledge that helped more mature students as well.
What types of students have you worked with?
Students of all age ranges, and from diverse backgrounds.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a good teacher. Do not go with the "most experienced" or the school with the best credentials. Some teachers do not fit well, so it depends on who the head trainer/teacher is. Also, look for a school where the head teacher is involved.
