I met Mr. David, we chatted about my goals and what I wanted to attain. He was straight forward with what was attainable. He advised me as to how we would reach that goal together. I am a private client of Mr David, and After my 3rd lesson, he was very positive on my progress, and how fast I picked up what he had taught. Mr.David is positive, friendly, and communicative. I appreciate him pushing me to my goals. I recommend him, based upon my personal experience with him for the past year. I look forward to working with him more. He now has a retail location, which is in a great spot. I look forward to learning from him every session.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Working a diciplined plan, while working towards members goals, which member wants to achieve.

Members are pushed to be their best mentally and physically. They learn a skill, which they will use in confidence if ever needed.

Students can learn skills for fitness, self defense or even competition (if they choose)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

over 35 years in martial arts. (Check website)

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Standard pricing is for everyone, However, discounts are available for certain career titles. Check website for more details.

How did you get started teaching?

I Started teaching through the city of St.Paul, parks and recreations division. I taught at 6 recs through out the city from 2006 to 2011.

I have taught over 300 people, children 7 years of age to adult. I have a specialty in instructing children of harsh environments.

I went personal training in 2012, instructing at fitness gyms and in private homes.

Feburary 14th, 2019, I Opened my first store front, Downtown St.Paul, in the Skyway system. (Hence the name of business)

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with many types of personalities. Its part of my teaching style to try and accommodate different types of people. My oldest client is 75 years of age, and my very first private client.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Personality between student and instructor is key. If the student doesnt like the instructor, because of personality conflicts, then it wont work out.

So, when searching for an instructor, make sure your (student) goals can be met while training with instructor and other students.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Make sure, you (student) are committed to coming to class with an open mind ready to learn and work hard

After all, youre paying the instructor for goals you want to attain.
