Being a teacher is rewarding work; its satisfying to teach a skill you have been developing all your life. It brings joy and meaning to life when working with students who share our passion. It's a fun job, but it is still a job. Teachers work hard to plan lessons and develop their own skills to aid in their student's growth.

Great place with amazing teachers. All the teachers are nice and customize their teaching style to each student. I especially like Pika and Joe. They are both very skilled teachers. I have taken many piano lessons on many places in the past and this is by far my favorite place. The location is also nice: next to many restaurants and shopping stores. Lastly, the price is reasonable and lessons can be bought monthly to save money. Overall, this is an amazing place to take lessons (for almost any instrument) for any age. I would highly recommend you give this place a try!

Very helpful and knowledgeable for our beginner violinist. Had exactly what we needed and wanted in stock. Convenient location with local ownership. Expert advice. By far the best music experience we’ve had. Wonderful back to school sale.

We've had our kids taking piano at Prince for a few months now and it has been a great experience. They've grown a lot musically. It is always amazing to see them learning and growing. People at Prince Music Company are very supportive, flexible with their class schedules if possible, classes are affordable. It's been a really good experience. Today I had my first flute class to retake the instrument after decades. I am excited to see where I'll go with their help.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We get the student playing on the very first lessons. Our lessons are focused, traditional, and structured. Each of our teachers are different but at the core, we share a fundamental background in music education. Lessons are tailored to each individual student and can include learning to read music, develop an ear, scale studies, and learning recital pieces.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

4-year college or university degree in music with some of our teachers earning graduate music degrees. Many of our instructors are full-time instructors, some are part-time teachers - part-time performance musicians.
