Gulfcoastmusic2go brings the music to you. We meet at an agreed upon spot to do lessons (be it the comfort of the students home or the instructors residence depending upon request). We ensure a hands on, interactive experience and curriculum that engages the student and allows the growth and education in the direction of the students desire or style of music. We teach all ages and ensure each students curriculum is uniquely based to their learning styles and needs. We look forward to hearing from potential students! Instruction on: guitar (acoustic, electric, and bass), piano, beginner to intermediate drums, trumpet, trombone, tuba, euphonium/baritone, music theory/music composition.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Working with what the student wants to get out of music. Start on music that the student enjoys and build with that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing music for more than half of my life. 22 years to be exact. I can play and teach guitar, bass, piano, drums, vocals, trumpet, tuba, euphonium/ tuba, french horn, trombone, music theory and music composition.

How did you get started teaching?
I found my niche for teaching around 5 years ago while teaching at a local music academy.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kinds. I write individual curriculum for each one according to their learning speeds.and styles. I've worked with all ages as well. From 6 years old to 65+.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone that's willing to really take the time to understand what you're aiming to get out of music. A teacher that guides you in a honest and decisive way and fosters a confidence in one's musical ability.
