Dalton Page
About
My name is Dalton Page. I have been playing music for almost 10 years, and professionally for 4 years. I started at the University of Southern Mississippi as a double major in percussion and piano. However, after taking piano lessons from my first piano teacher from Colombia, I fell in love with the instrument. I decided to drop the percussion major and switch to piano only. Since then, I have studied many different styles of music from many amazing people from all around the world. Studying classical and jazz music, I’m able to comfortably play from any genre. Lessons with me are low stress, fun, and very educational. I like to think that my style of teaching moves the student along much faster than most piano teachers, with less work involved. “Piano is much easier than it looks.” I cater to each individual student, learning just as much from them as they do from me. I also teach important piano skills through real music the student wants to play, instead of “boring” exercises. I have experience teaching students ranging from age 6 to age 80. And I have loved teaching every student equally. I also teach percussion and drumset, guitar, and bass. Looking forward to working with you!
