Me and my fellow teachers are always excited when we see students grow and succeed.
MusicbySteve provides excellent music education for adults, teens and children at all levels at very affordable rates.
We offer instruction in flute, sax, piccolo, voice, violin, viola, piano, guitar and bass guitar, mandolin, banjo and even harmonica!
Having a student develop a love for music is always rewarding. To watch how a student's (be child, teen or adult) grow in their art and seeing the joy of their sucess is a great "perk" of the profession.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
~Undergraduate musical studies at the Peabody Conservatory of Music.
~Graduate studies and Goucher College, Western Maryland College and Pensacola Christian College.
~Teachers include Marilyn Cotlow of the Metropolitan Opera, Shirley Thompson of the Frankfurt Opera, Donald J. Grout and Aaron Copland.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Half hour lessons before 2:00 - $20 per lesson.
Half hour lesson 2:30 and later - $25 per lesson.
All lessons are sold in groups of four.

How did you get started teaching?
My voice changed from boy soprano to bass at age ten. I have been involved in music ever since!
What types of students have you worked with?
I teach all levels of students from children through seniors.
