I am a guitarist and educator that has worked with 100s of students in private and group lessons for the last 8 years.
I am committed to giving very practical lessons to students to help them learn an instrument for the first time or to get into music that inspires and motivates them!
I have a Masters Degree in Jazz Performance from University of Miami.
I play guitar regularly in the area in small jazz groups and in my R&B/Soul Band, Centricity.
I enjoy the passion and happiness that I see in a student when they acquire skills on an instrument that they didn't think they could achieve. Seeing young musicians grow technically and creatively makes me so happy to be a music teacher!

Lessons with Avery are always personalized and fit for my level. Avery explained everything in a manner that was easy for me to understand me allowed me to learn a lot about theory while progressing on my horn and embracing jazz. Highly recommend to anyone even if you don’t know a lot of theory he’ll make it easy for you to understand!
