What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The instructor meets with a student to have an orientation class to guide step by step process, from bowing procedure to stretch and basic moves.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do have a Doctoral degree in Christian Social Works and International Certified Master Instructor, International Referee and 8th Degree Black belt in Taekwondo and 8th-degree black belt in Hwarangdo and 7th-degree black belt in Hapkido
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our Tae Kwon Do Classes are Monday -Saturday. Most of the students are attending 3-4 times a week. Our rate is $109-149 per month.
How did you get started teaching?
Tae Kwon Do change me from a wild and energetic person to a calm and focused person. And poor academic performance to the top of the class. I love to share what I learned from this Tae Kwon Do.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kinds of people, 5 years and up. Children, youth, and adult students are attending my facility.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Twenty-five years ago, a student contacted me and shared his beautiful memories before he went on to MLB. When he started my program, he was not athletic, but Tae Kwon Do helped him to involve little league and High school baseball team and later to MLB.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Their passion and dedication.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Tae Kwon Do training is a long life journey, do not expect you can do everything you have seen in the movies.
