Marco's Music Lessons
About
Marco Accattatis teaches bass guitar, acoustic bass, guitar, improvisation, composition, and theory to all ages students in his studios in South Orange, NJ, and surrounding areas. He also teaches via Skype and email.
Marco has been teaching privately and academically since 1995 and holds a summa cum laude BM in composition and performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Some of his private teachers include Charlie Banacos, Jeff Andrews, and John Patitucci.
He is currently a part-time lecturer in music history at Rutgers University where he is pursuing a doctoral degree in musicology. From 1997 to 2000 he was Artist In Residence at the NYU New Music And Dance Ensemble at New York University
where he taught graduate and undergraduate students.
Marco has been teaching since 1990. He currently performs with Martha Reeves and the Vandellas among other artists.
Rates are for in-studio lessons. In-house lessons rates are dependent on distance.
