My teaching approach: Maxx uses an adaptive teaching approach to every student. He will adjust his teaching methods to perfectly suit every individual student, as all students' needs and learning abilities are unique. Maxx wants to get to know his students and help them achieve any goal they have. By the age of 17 he became an anomaly due to his rapid development as a guitar player from when he bagan at the age of 7. He has been considered a prodigy and even a virtuoso because of his ingenuity and technical skill. Maxx has played countless live performances from as young as 10 years old with various bands and solo acts. His influences are: Tom Quayle, Martin Miller, Rick Graham, Mattias Eklund, Steve Vai, Guthrie Govan, John Petrucci, Mika Tyyska, Yngwie Malmsteen, Claudio Pietronik, and many more. My guitar lessons take place in: The teacher's studio or the student's home. Lesson scheduling is completely flexible. Availability is 7 days a week. Email, text, or call to figure out what time works best for you. Guitar Techniques: Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Open tuning, Fingerstyle, Performance, Improvisation, Jamming Skills, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing, Recording and Production, Guidance In Equipment Selection Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following: With any student, any age, any skill level, Maxx learns what that particular student wants and what they wish to achieve as a guitar player or musician. He thinks the way most guitar players and musicians do not. You can be confident that you will be a better guitar player after just one lesson. A guitar lesson with me might entail the following: A lesson with Maxx will always be active. There will never be a lesson where your guitar just sits in your lap. Guitar playing is supposed to be fun, Maxx makes sure that his lessons are as enjoyable as can be. There is no ideal student. Any student who wants to become a better musician and guitar player is perfect for Maxx.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The very first step is understanding what the student wants to accomplish. The last thing I want to do is waste a students time teaching things that the student has no interest in learning. From there we will work together in achieving the goals step by step that the student wishes to achieve. 

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been studying music theory and guitar for all my life with various private teachers and schooling.
