Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know the student first slowly, make them feel comfortable, and then focus on what needs to be improved. I am very open to communication, and want to fix problems throughout the process. I aim for a positive experience for the student ! I accept online students, as well as in person from all over the world:) Currently I am located in NYC!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Doctorate in piano performance (U of Utah). I have many years of teaching courses under my belt, both on an undergraduate and graduate level. I have over 20 years of experience in my field in terms of piano teaching, performing as a soloist, and chamber musician all over the world. You can find out everything about me on my website:

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes I charge $60 an hour - lessons can be done also in a half an hour. I am flexible and open to communicating about the prices, so don't hesitate to approach me about it!
