Through my energy and excitement, I incorporate musical learning through educational fun, humor and goal-oriented mindset. My focus is to ensure that each student is comfortable and focus on wanting to improve and excel in their instrument. Practice, repetition, and vocal projection are the three elements I incorporate in each session. Vocal projection focuses on the student singing the notes before playing the saxophone or piano as a way of improving their musical abilities mentally and vocally.
As a saxophonist playing for weddings, banquets, corporate events, and more, I continue to provide live entertainment at an affordable price. I formed a band called Soulful Sounds, which consist of myself and four other college-educated males all having a passion for music and a motive to inspire those in need. Feel free to explore the Soulful Sounds Website at Tcnjsoulfulsounds.com.
God bless you, I look forward to working with you and empowering your musical abilities.
Matthew R. has a great rapport with my 8 year old son. The lessons have been going wonderfully. When we started in Oct., my hope was that my son would be able to play at least one Christmas song for the holidays. We are way past 1 song now! Highly recommend.
Through repetition, engaging worksheets, and fun exercises, I incorporate these strategies that have proven to progress a new student to learn and enjoy playing the piano or saxophone.
