I have more than 9 years of pastry knowledge. I worked as a pastry chef in the industry and also taught high school students as a culinary instructor at a trade school. I was working as a pastry chef in a cozy meal company and had my private classes. My strongest skill has always been teaching baking from the first stage until advanced in baking with a great understanding of baking knowledge and composition. I can have you/your child in my class, we can learn, bake and have fun together.

I am Mukti Banerjee, I grew up in Calcutta, India, and learned to cook from my mother and aunt. In 1986, I moved to the U.S. with my husband to work as a biologist. In 2006, I left my nine-to-five routine so that I could work full-time on my dream—bringing the flavors and benefits of Indian cooking to all New Yorkers. In a few years, Mukti’s Kitchen was born.
