Hi future violinist! My name is Rebecca and I am a classically trained violinist, who started at the age of 3 and has since learned under several professional coaches, performed at a variety of different levels and events, and who loves to share my love for the instrument with students just like you! My coaching style uses a combination of ear training and sight reading, so that students have a well rounded ability to both play by ear and read music. This style of learning helps students to prepare for anything from solo recitals to competitions with musical accompaniment to being a member of an orchestra or chamber group. With a classical background and an ear for rnb/blues, I believe I can engage any curious or dedicated student with this eclectic mix of perspectives and experience.
