About
My teaching approach: I completed my degree from William Paterson University with a Bachelor of Music in classical guitar performance. I teach students of all ages, styles, and skill levels. I equip my students with the knowledge and techniques needed to succeeded at Word their musical goals.I keep lessons interesting with games and challenges that provoke learning and creativity. I am influenced by great classical guitarists such as David Russell, John Williams, Manuel Barrueco, and Ava Vidovic as well as other great guitarists like Jimi Hendrix, BB King, Andy McKee. My guitar lessons take place in: Online over Zoom, The teacher's studio or the student's home Guitar Lessons with me take place in the following areas: West Milford, Vernon, Greenwood Lake, Butler, Wayne, Sparta Guitar Techniques: Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Open tuning, Fingerstyle, Vocal Accompaniment, Performance, Improvisation, Jamming Skills, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing. Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following: In the first lesson I will teach proper playing techniques or assess their current playing and create a lesson plan that will ultimately help them discover their talents. A guitar lesson with me might entail the following: My guitar lessons are customized to suit the needs and goals of the student. These might entail: learning to read music, song writing and improvisation techniques, music theory, scales and arpeggios, ear training, or simply learning to play your favorite song! The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following: My ideal student would be anyone motivated to learn and who enjoys playing their instrument.
