Music is my entire life, I am more than your average college student!
I am a guitarist, singer, DJ, and have been in and around every type of performance or concert - being a technicain (sound/lighting), actor, musician and crew.
I combine my knowledge of music, hardware & software, performance, and being a professional in the music industry to continue branching out so that I can make the best music possible.
I have such a passion for this because I love using all my strenghts to enhance my music, so I can do more than just play a guitar, which is where I began. I love seeing how my friends and students become overcome hearing or learning music, and the personal emotional connection they get can be expanded, and needs to be taught!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Give a FREE 45 minute lesson, so I can learn about the student.
I address what they know, what they would like to know, and extensively ask about their background and music taste to see if there is any new aspect that can enhance their musicality.
For example, I may be able to teach a guitarist song, even if they can read, but it is imperative to know what pedals, techniques and amps to use so when you've got it down, you really sound like Mr.Hendrix. I prefer to teach broad applications instead of specific song licks, because it teaches you about the genre and how to teach yourself faster.
I can and will get you to play that solo perfectly however, because that is how I learned.
I work on the student's schedule, and create a teaching plan we both agree on. I constantly ask for feedback on my instruction and which direction the student would like to go next.

$45 -- 45 minute lesson
$50 -- 1 hour lesson
$60 -- 1 hour and 20 minute lesson
