We are a family owned business founded in 2008 and have given over 50,000 private lessons since then. We have been voted #1 Music School in the Wayne Magazine Reader's Poll 2014-2017 (they no longer have our category). Our staff has either decades of experience teaching and/or have a degee in music instruction. Our expertise is getting new students playing faster and enjoying their new instrument quicker than all other methods. We have students that have been coming for years and many have gone on to study music in college with our training. Our entire staff has gone through a rigorous nationwide background check and we have windows in all our lesson rooms.
The joy that we see in the people's faces when they perform in front of friends and family is our biggest reward. Every student get's a chance to perform and this is included in our tuition at no extra charge. It is not a requirement to perform, but it is encouraged when the student is ready. If you would like to be part of band or group vocal ensemble, we have that too for an extra charge. You can see most of our performances on our YouTube Channel ShamRock School1. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We offer a FREE no obligation trial lesson at our school so you can meet the teacher and tour our facility. After that you can purchase a package of 4 lesson, a semester of lessons, or register for our montly auto bill program. We customize the lessons to the students goals and desires. If you are brand new and just want to learn to play an instrument or sing? We will provide the best method to work with you skill set. You need to audition for a play or band? We can work with you on the music you need to perform. Need to audition for a college entrance exam? We can work with you on your music that gives you the best possible chance to be accepted. (We have had students get into Berklee, WPU, Montclair, Stevens Institute and more)...or maybe you just want to learn your favorite songs....what ever your goal is, we will CUSTOMIZE THE LESSONS to your needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our entire staff will hold advanced degrees in music or have spent decades teaching music in the area. We match your schedule, instrument and skill level to the most qualified teacher on our staff. Most of our staff have been with us for several years.
