Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before starting lessons, I always begin with an introduction and evalution. I gage the students stregnths and weakness through sightreading, music theory, and tenchinqual ability. After an assessment has been completed, and the student voices their aim and goals, I will create a lesson plan to work towards achieving a better understanding of music, thier instrument, and helping in achieving thier goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being a third genereation music teacher, I was groomed to play music as soon I could sit up striaght. I grew up participating in musical competitions and recital preformances on the piano. At the age of 15, I began assiting my mother in lessons, and became my own teacher at 18.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I have had the blessing of working with students of all ages and skill levels.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Just becuase a teacher is a good musiciain, does not mean they are a decent teacher. I have been instruced and handed down an effective lesson plan developed over years and generations of teaching which is extremley effective and direct.
