What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will discuss with the student what their goals as a guitar player are and then try to tell her the lesson to their personal interests and needs.. some students want to learn to play their favorite songs someone to study music theory scales and technique some in the band and want help with the material they're working onand some were getting ready to go to college and need to brush up on their reading and theory....so the first lesson usually begins with us talking about what somebody wants to learn and then I will tell her the lessons to their specific needs & wants along with some things I think they should know as well if they're open to that
