We are not a music business that has become distracted by the business of selling instruments or rentals. We've never been in that business. We are here exclusively to provide quality private music lessons with highly qualified and likable teachers.

Jake has been attending Olive Tree for many years. He is now 15 and still enjoys playing piano. He has had different teachers over the years and has had a truly positive experience with all of them. His current teacher, Gregg, is making a great impact on Jake's love of music and is motivating him not only with playing skills during the lessons but with music theory. I'm glad we found Olive Tree.
We start with a half price trial lesson, after which we charge monthly for weekly lessons. You're welcome whether you are a beginner or advanced, old or young.
Ask about credentials. Anyone can say they're a music teacher. Many of our teachers have their doctorate in their instrument. Most have at least a masters degree. But while we interview potential teachers, we weed out far more just in the search for the right pedagogy and personality. While there are exceptions to every rule, we also don't recommend you hire anyone who will travel to your home, as most of the teachers who have the qualifications mentioned above no longer want to be dealing with the wear and tear and time wasted traveling to students' houses. Home also is seldom the best learning environment.
