Description about my music education organization's philosophy, experience, community, curriculum, and faculty:
I started private guitar lessons at age 7 with the same teacher for 10yrs..At this time the colleges did not have guitar programs so i continued advanced lessons in New York. Also teaching and playing guitar professionally for the next 20 years.1973 I opened The Guitar Studio in NJ. eventually putting on a few of my advanced students as guitar instructors. Most of our teachers have music degrees, are interviewed and must audition to teach at The Guitar Studio. Lessons for beginners to advanced students including adults are programed to each individual students musical interest.
Guitar Techniques:
Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Open tuning, Fingerstyle, Slide Guitar, Vocal Accompaniment, Performance, Improvisation, Jamming Skills, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing
Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:
Mon Tue Wed Thur. 3;00pm to 9;00pm - Sat. 10;00am to 4:00 pm.
