About
During the Covid-19 outbreak, I am committed to continue providing music education. All lessons will be done over FaceTime, Skype, or Zoom online platform. Please contact me to inquire about this method.
My mission is to give my students the most meaningful and enjoyable musical experience through music lessons. Having studied with multiple master music educators from the Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music, I understand that inspiration and positive influence is the best gift a music teacher can give to a student. Shaping young minds, I focus on proper technical foundation, sensitivity in sounds, while keeping the excitement of creating music. Lessons are usually held once a week, sometimes twice a week, either at my Upper West Side studio or at student's home in Manhattan (now over internet). My students are ages of 5 and older, at all levels.
ABRSM / RCM Certification and Competitions
Our students have performed in the Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center as winners of International Competitions for young artists, and have been recipients of ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of music) and RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) certifications in both Piano and Theory. The ABRSM and RCM are international music certification given to students all around the world. The certification exams can be very effective for students' progress, as well as helpful for students' application to private high schools and colleges.
Learn from a Concert Pianist and Cellist
Not every teacher is the same. Learning from an award-winning piano and cello teacher with education from The Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music, you will be making the best decision for your music education. Regardless of the level, every student in my studio builds the correct technical foundation from the start, and learns the subtle beauty and expression of music from a performing concert pianist.
Student Recital
Performance is an important part of music education. My students participate in student recitals at the end of each semester. Students love to share their progress in the presence of their loving parents and grandparents. These recitals provide the opportunity for students to set a long-term goal and to polish their performance.
