I have achieved great success with my students over 20,000 private lessons. Because of this, I can do the following: 1- All my lessons are PIANO ACCELERATED. This means all students so far have learned to play the instrument at a much faster rate. In general, I can cover a year's work from another school or teacher in 1 single lesson for a student who is 3 to 8 year old. (This sounds impossible but is true with all my students, because i teach from the learning perspective and not from the teaching perspective.) 2- I can teach children who are as young as 3 and half extremely well. Like the older students, they will learn to read and write their own music and play with both hand in the first 6 lessons. The piano courses for this age group is are also accelerated and private. 3- Students are happier children at the piano with NancyPiano teaching methods. They remember more and they practice more. The learning is also comprehensive. This means they will learn about everything that relates to piano playing (reading, composing, playing, listening, music theory, problem solving and anlaytical skills, self-image, confidence, stage freight, understand the abstract ideas and etc). 4- I have taught children with learning disabilities (by medical standard ) over the last 17 years with success. To me, the labels are not important at all. It is more crucial I examine the quality of each individual and design a course plan to fit the stengths and weakness of each student. My dedication to teaching children was mentioned in the New York Times and many local new papers as a pillar in the community. I run my lessons on 40 minute cycle and have a 5 minute break between lessons. All families at NancyPiano pay by either the semester or by the year. The lessons are not inexpensive but they definitely work. If they don't, I will be the first person to tell the parents, so I can give my time to someone else who can use the time better and the family can save the money. My prices are not negotiable. Tuition is refundable at any time point.
