About
With all the different ways out there to learn how to play your favorite music, why choose us? The reason is that we offer a theory-based music performance program for musicians of all ages to develop and grow as players. We teach ear training and use popular hits across many genres to get the point across - reason being, it's the music you love that will make you want to play. And when you're ready, we put you on stage at the club venues that make Las Vegas famous.
We aren't a conservatory, but we do believe that understanding some theory will help you elevate your play, whether you want to play a face-melting solo or write your first song. So we partnered with a brilliant professor at the University of Dayton to offer our musicians a fun little theory book that will help you along. Written in graphic novel format at an elementary school level, it covers the history of music and important concepts in a way that's easy to understand. The contents are closely aligned with concepts covered at the middle school level in Clark County School District, so this material presents a great introduction especially for elementary school students.
Bottom line is, we want you and your family to have fun playing music - it's a skill that grows with the player and provides a lifetime of enjoyment. Stop by and check us out - you'll be glad you did!
We love music and we love putting on shows!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Check out our website (https://rsgmusic.com/news.html) to learn more about our methods for working with new students. There, you'll find many articles about how we help you navigate those first few lessons on your chosen instrument.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our staff works under the direction of Douglas Bond, Director of Operations, who has over 30 years playing music professionally for acts ranging from rock to folk to jazz to country, and everything in between. Doug has a degree in early childhood education as well, which naturally lends itself to connecting with young players.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We offer monthly pricing for our performance programs, which consist of weekly private lessons of 30-45 minutes in length, plus weekly group rehearsal practices aimed toward putting kids onstage and performing live at recitals, which occur about every 10 weeks. You can join anytime! We offer monthly pricing as well as lesson four-packs for private instruction as well.
How did you get started teaching?
We ran several well-known music education branded concepts in the Las Vegas valley (i.e., Rock 'n Roll Fantasy Camp, School of Rock, etc.) for nearly 10 years prior to striking out on our own.
