About
Since picking up the guitar at age 10 Chris Schleyer has been dedicated to the instrument.
At the age of 17 Chris was chosen to attend the first Governor's School For The Arts in Louisville, KY and then went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Music with an emphasis on guitar performance from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois.
Once obtaining a solid musical and technical education, Chris moved to Los Angeles, CA to start his professional music career in 1992.
Aside from an extensive career as a touring guitarist and guitar technician, Chris has also performed and worked on various film and television productions such as "DOOM", "Sahara", "AxMen", "America's Toughest Jobs", and "Monster Garage".
Chris brings all of this experience to the table when teaching his students.
I really enjoy the experience of sharing my guitar and music knowledge with other people.
