I've had the pleasure of receiving lessons from Assaf for over five years, and I'm still taking them. Regardless of the styles you are most into, Assaf will help you both improve in those styles, and also give you an extremely deep knowledge of music theory over time, which will help you dissect and create any kind of music. I have learned a ton so far from his lessons, been having a blast doing it, and have no plans to stop! Highly recommended.

Excellent teacher. I always look forward to my Skype lessons with Assaf and he's helped me in many ways to advance in my jazz journey.

A very good and thoughtful guitar teacher. I've played for over 20 years but have stagnated for much of the last 10. Assaf was able to introduce a number of fresh exercises and techniques that have improved my playing. They seem very tailored and specific to where I need to improve. Also, the Skype format is convenient. I was a skeptic at first but now enjoy being able to just dial in from my living room and have flexibility on scheduling.

I've been taking lessons with Assaf for about seven years now. I feel like I can really play jazz now. I can see improvement and progress every month.
