Billy has been writing songs since first picking up an instrument. Because of that, Billy believes learning music and taping into one’s own creativity to hand in hand. He has been working with kids and adults doing song writing workshops and lessons for the past 8 years working through Ethical Culture Fieldston School and other organizations and has cowritten with and produced records for both professional songwriters who have written hit songs for A Great Big World and Kesha, and amateur songwriters including refugee youth and youth have gone through traumatic experiences. He has toured the world playing with Ingrid Michaelson and sometimes with Grammy Winners, A Great Big World and has performed on shows like Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon and The Today Show.
Teaches songwriting on guitar, voice (some piano and some uke). Also teaches audio production and protools.
