I’m a dedicated guitar teacher with over 50 years of experience. Whether you’re a child, teen, or adult, we’ll focus on the music that inspires you while building solid skills. I teach Jazz, Blues, Pop and Classical guitar. I can show you how to read standard notation or tablature whichever feels most comfortable for you. Lessons are tailored to your goals, whether that’s learning your favorite songs, improving technique, or understanding music theory. My professional playing experience has included cruise ships, small jazz clubs to large outdoor ventures. Solo guitar playing as well as playing with 18 piece orchestras. I was performing with a 9 piece show band that did mainly high end weddings and private parties through out the New York area for about 15 years. Now I'm currently working as a duo with a female jazz vocalist.
