I love to share music with the other musician on the stage, and the audience. To me, playing music is not just about playing instrument with people on the stage. Playing music makes me grow. I've learned how to comunicate with people from playing music. I also love that I can learn about people from their music.

How did you get started teaching?
My peers and other younger musicians started to ask me about specific techniques that I was using. I began to love to explain what I was doing. I would often tell the students about the concepts that I learned from my favorite recordings, my teachers, and my experiences playing with many diffrent musicians. I have developed a method of learning that uses all of the knowledge that I have aquired.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with college age who are already majoring in Music. and also, I have some experience with ages 8-11.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently taught a lesson when I was visiting South Korea while on Tour.
This student was in college as a music major, and wanted to learn about jazz improvisation. I recommended a lot of music to listen to, and also taught some ideas that could be possibly used for improvisation.
