What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Making sure that the musical and technical foundation are strong and the student knows how to practice efficiently and creatively. Establishing a respectful relationship between teacher and student and so much more and understand students’ goals and creative ambitions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 30 years of teaching experience. International performing experience.

Educated at McGill University in Montreal and graduated from Mannes College of Music in New York.
Highly accomplished students with multiple awards, including an international prize and a recital at Carnegie Hall.
How did you get started teaching?
I am passionate about communicating what I like to do most in my life and I believe it’s that passion that inspires my students to practice well and to commit, which eventually yields to big accomplishments.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginners to late advanced, including students who have been admitted in Berklee College of Music, LaGuardia High School, Manhattan school of Music, pre-college division, competition winners with a performance at Carnegie Hall, as well as students who mostly enjoy pursuing it for their own enjoyment. There will be plenty of performing opportunities, including at Steinway Hall.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Two of my students won 2nd prize in the BMTG interncontinental competition for the immortal and living composers in elementary, duet catégorie. The prize included a performance at Carnegie Hall.
