About

I'm a keyboard/piano player, music producer and composer. I started playing classical piano at a young age and then became interested in synthesizers and music production. I studied at the New England Conservatory in Boston and have additional training from Berklee College of Music and Rhythmic Music Conservatory (Copenhagen, Denmark).

I have three years of experience teaching music to children and adults, covering classical piano and popular music styles. I have extensive experience as a side musician playing keyboards for different projects as well as playing, composing and producing my own music.

I worked with Ana for one and half year and had an amazing experience. I started working with her with zero piano experience and by the end of the year and half I could play my favorite song, that I never thought would be possible in such a short time.

Ana is both very knowledgable in piano and music theory, while also really knowing how to teach the material. She is very good at designing the lessons that are suited to every individual student. That really helped me work on pieces I was very passionate about, while learning a whole lot about playing piano. The lessons were a good mix of theory, hand motions, reading sheet music and learning songs and pieces.

In addition to her technical and teaching skills, Ana is super approachable and overall very nice. I highly recommend her as a piano instructor!!

We first met Ana in a group lesson for our younger daughter. She made the lessons fun as well as educational. She then began to teach our 9 year old and 7 year old each in a separate private lesson. She adapted her teaching to each of our daughters needs and made the lessons fun for them both. They always looked forward to their lessons. She was able to incorporate composition with my older daughter and theory with them both. They learned so much, became better musicians and had a lot of fun. We have missed working with her ever since we moved out of the area!

Ive taken piano lessons with Ana for two years, and she is professional in her administration of the lessons and very knowledgable about music and music performance. She also has a cheerful personality and is extremely encouraging. Music can be a difficult subject for anyone, so Anas supportive attitude is a wonderful help. She always is ready with encouraging and supportive words, and she takes note of small improvements. She never shows impatience; instead, she helps students work through their frustrations with gentle encouragement. I leave her lessons feeling optimistic, happy in what I am learning, and ready to practice and improve. Ana also has a delightful sense of humor, and she always is ready with a smile.
