Evaluate musical and rhythm abilities first;

As far as pricing I am considering the student ability to pay so there is some flexibility there.
How did you get started teaching?
I was approached by parents who knew me and wanted to start their kids on the violin with someone whom will teach the proper technique and approach to music.
Working full time with the Met for 40 years I couldn't teach but a few students.
Being retired now I hope to dedicate myself to teaching many students, I have a lot to offer.

From beginners to coaching professional violin players for auditions.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Playing together with my Granddaughter who's 10 and studying the cello.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It depends on the level and the age of the student
