Marc is an excellent teacher. He tailors sessions to your personal learning style and preference in music. His knowledge in music is expansive and he communicates this knowledge in a clear manner. I have had multiple attempts at learning the guitar as a I started playing later in life than most people. I became frustrated with past teachers and thought I would never be able to achieve my dream of playing. In just a few weeks of working with Marc, I was able to play riffs of my favorite songs, understand basic music theory concepts, and improve my rhythm. After 1 year of working with Marc, I am playing songs I never thought I’d be able to play and more importantly, expressing myself through songs and melodies that I have created. Marc is an exceptional guitar teacher. His relaxed, laid-back style makes you feel at ease while his deep understanding of guitar and music theory offers something for everyone. Whatever your level of playing, you'll learn something from taking lessons with Marc. His lessons are tailored to each student; from genres that pupils like, to learning how to play songs by students' guitar heroes. Marc uses student selected songs to teach broader concepts and give practical application to music theory. Within just a couple of months of starting lessons with Marc, I was performing on stage at one of his "student Jams" (pre-pandemic.). I've been taking weekly lessons with Marc for a number of years (in person and now digitally during COVID) and have no plans to stop - he's that good.
