About this pro

Flexibility allows my teaching style to stand out (plus, I can teach in German if that is an advantage for you or your child). You dictate where we go generally. In an initial call or email or txt message, I determine what your level of play is and what kind of music you want to play and learn about. Then, I tailor a program to suit your needs. I base music theory lesson on the selction of songs and/or music genre that you like to learn about. Generally, I look to teach you theory and practical lessons simultaneously, but if you like we can focus on either one in any lesson. I am not sure to what extent that makes me different from my competitors, but that is how its done here. I can teach you anything from from Gypsy Swing and Jazz to Rock & Pop. NOTE: Classical Guitar is not what you learn to play here...

I have and always will enjoy inteacting with people on all sorts of levels but my most favorite way of communicating is music. I am always pleased to see how my students develop or expand their skill-set. The sense of achievement that they come to feel over-time as they exeprience musical progress is what gives me satisfaction as a teacher (.. next to paying the bills of course).

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Using web-conferencing software ( preferably to interact and communicate. You login for free using a code that I will email you and we take it from there...

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

As a Gypsy (Sinti), I grew up playing the guitar at age 10 already. It became a passion from early on. Played live in many bands and taught anything from Gypsy Swing to Jazz, Rock and Pop. I have been doing that for 5 deaces now. I did not study music at any University, but nevertheless my band (the Action) did open for the WHO in Muenster, Germany (April, 1967). The local papers back then wrote that our act was the best of all opening acts. I never played for fame or money though. it was always about fun and good times and musical progress. I just enjoy the world of music. Would not know what to do without it.
