MISSION

Our goal at Keys To Success is to produce quality learners and musicians by imparting into them the knowledge, skills, excellence, and the joy of playing and performance that they will have the piano as an instrument of their natural expression for the rest of the lives.

HOW

By imparting into students two important skills-

In our one-on-one lesson, not only do we teach students different skills required to master the instrument well. We also address and inspire students in their learning posture towards piano playing. For instance, we have had students who are perfectionists...they become very discouraged when they play a wrong note! But we help them understand that while taking the learning process seriously is important, making mistakes is also part of the learning process. On the other hand, we've also had students who, after starting lessons with us, come to understand that they themselves reap the reward and the joy of piano playing as they put in their hard work.

Another important skills we impart into our students is the art of performing in front of others- a required skill in all areas of life.

We’ve seen students who were intimidated by the stage at first and were reluctant to perform. But overtime, we worked with them and showed them how to manage their stage fright. Now, they look forward to our bi-annual recitals and don’t think twice about getting on stage!

We’ve seen another student who was shy and played quietly in her first piano performance. We worked with her in the lessons on how to combat that shyness and fear. In our most recent winter recital, the way she performed...she looked like and played as if she owned the stage. A couple of people in the audience made a remark that she played like a different person!

These are the progress we celebrate. These are the stories we live for.

Talent is overrated- ANYONE can learn how to play the piano. Students studying with us will learn determination, self-discipline, patience, courage to learn new skills, and experience the joy of piano playing and performance.
