Key Lessons

Key Lessons was formed in 2018 by Sarah Rowe. A pianist and clarinetist who has been performing her entire life time. After dedicating countless years and hours studying and mastering her instruments she started teaching at Gibson’s. While teaching young children and adults well into their 70s she realized there was a niche for busy families with multiple kids. It’s hard driving your children to soccer practice, music lessons, ballet, gymnastics, and everywhere else. Wouldn’t life be easier if someone came to your home to teach instead? That saves some families 1-2 hours of time by not driving and waiting in between lessons. Time parents can be home preparing dinner, doing laundry, helping kids with homework, etc. Sarah formed her own company overnight building a website that reached hundreds. She now teaches private lessons to students in their own home so families do not have to travel. She currently travels to students homes in Monroe county having just over to 60 students of her own. She works with several young children with severe anxiety, ADHD, and dyslexia. She also works with adults who have early onset Alzheimer’s and arthritis in the hands. Music can be soothing, a great stress relief, helps with memory and memory loss, and can help built finger strength. Give yourself or someone you love the gift of music today. We our happy to announce we have also brought on a Eastman Graduate Sean as our amazing guitar teacher. Sean teaches acoustic, electric, and bass guitar.
