Hello, I'm Laura from Colombia and I'm willing to share my knowledge about music in a way that you won't feel like doing something hard, I like to make music enjoyable and fun for my students. I play flute and piano in classical and popular style, I can be versatile for any kind of music you wanna learn.
I really enjoy teaching music. Music always teaches you positive things, discipline, patience, love, respect, history, culture, diversity, friendship and even math, because of that and many other reasons I strongly believe that learning how to play an instrument or singing can help you grow in many many positive ways.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to stablish what level the student is in, so I can get the right material or get the right methods and techniques the student needs or wants to develop. If the student is starting from 0 I make a whole introduction to the instrument and music and then start asking questions about what the student likes or what are the goals we want to set. There are 3 aspects I work on my lessons: context (analysis), technique and performing.
