About this pro

I am very intuitive about how to solve problems with a student's playing. I treat each student individually, and we develop a personal rapport that makes it easy to communicate.

I love my students and enjoy teaching them to learn and improve their skills. I am their greatest advocate!

I have known Ann for close to ten years, and have seen her work with students of all ages and ability levels, from beginner to professionals. What sets Ann’s teaching apart is her ability to combine an encyclopedic knowledge of string playing, a delightful personality, and pragmatic advice from her vast Performing experience. When I play for Ann, she’s trying to make me sound more like myself and I have seen my playing grow exponentially since I first played for her.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I first see what level the student is on, and we quickly find the best way to communicate by a friendly conversation about the instrument and what fuels the student's desire to play. And then, we begin.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Juilliard School, Peabody Institute, Greenwood Music Camp

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
