I have been working with Rachel for about 8 months now, and Ive seen major improvements in my singing. My technique has improved, I can sing more comfortably in a wider range, and I have been able to learn how to sing some of my favorite pop songs while also working on classical repertoire. Rachel is incredibly kind, patient, and an extremely talented teacher! Even on Zoom, she is able to quickly identify where I am making mistakes and give me a gentle nudge in the right direction. She is always involved and passionate in her teaching, and she responds quickly, is flexible, and is willing to not just be a teacher for an hour a week but also establish a positive relationship with her students as a friend and mentor that they can count on. I would highly recommend Rachel for vocal lessons!

    Frequently asked questions

I offer half an hour or one hour sessions, once a week, to students of all ages who wish to improve (or begin) their skills in voice, piano, or music theory. I am also happy to help more advanced students work towards perfecting their audition package as they prepare for high school productions or college auditions. Given our current situation, I will be teaching these lessons from the comfort of my living room over Zoom! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding how this program works or need help downloading it/getting started

I hold both a master's and bachelor's degree in vocal performance.

Initial lessons are free for anyone who is interested! After the first lesson, it will cost $45 for a half hour lesson and $60 for a full hour. I am happy to accept payment through Venmo or other online payment apps. A mailed check is also acceptable if that is  easier for you. If this is the case, I will provide you with my mailing address individually. Lessons  are billed month to month, with payment due on the 15th of the month, or after the first lesson  of the month.

I work with students aged 6-86!

What are you hoping to gain from music lessons? What type of music do you like to listen to/sing/play?
