Vision Yoga & Wellness
About
Hello and welcome to our community of Visionaries! I offer alignment based vinyasa flow instruction for beginners, intermediate and advanced students that can be made to fit the needs of the student. Class begins with breathwork, warm up, sun salutations, strengthening, balance, and deeper stretchers finishing with a guided meditation relaxation. Let have fun and tap into our true nature ❤️✌️️🙏
I love to inspire brand new students to let go of their expectations, and try something new that their bodies will appreciate and their mind will melt into being, rather than constantly racing through a newsfeed of thoughts.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First and foremost I want to understand why is the student choosing yoga? Is there any acute or chronic pain in the body? Is this for stress management? Sports performance? Wedding day prep? Or looking to make a lasting and sustainable way for vitality? My clients tend to be goal oriented, but stuck in negative behavior loops or patterns of movement that keep them stuck. I only facilitate class, the student visionary provides the reason why.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2002 focusing on those in pain, with experience/certifications in Myofacial Release, Sports Massage, Thai Yoga Massage, CranioSacral Therapy and a degree in Art Education from Kent State. I have been teaching as a 200 level yoga instructor for 7 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We have an intro private offer of Three classes for $150. Private sessions are $85/hour, and can save $25 on package of 5 sessions.
How did you get started teaching?
As a Massage Therapist, and after diving into yoga 9 years ago, I realized yoga was the missing link for myself, and my clients. I feel like I am still learning new ways for my body to be strong and flexible in body and in mind.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with C level clientele with high stress levels, athletes, beginners, and anyone who is nervous to start!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently hosted a restorative workshop at our Vision Underground location and I provided light massage and energy work to students as they were propped in super comfortable restorative poses by candlelight. The bliss was palpable!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that understands the body and potential injuries, someone who can offer homework routines and/or mini video tutorials, and someone who will be a partner in your yogic journey.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Past Injuries? What have they loved about their teachers from the past? What kind of support do they thrive under? How serious are they about making a sustainable, beneficial change to their lives?
