Sam George Guitar Lessons

Interested in learning acoustic or electric guitar? I teach beginning/intermediate students so no prior knowledge or experience is required. $10 per half hour lesson and the 1st lesson is free!

My name is Sam George. I have been involved in music for 15 years and I've been playing guitar for 9 years. I am currently pursuing a Bachelors in Music Education and Jazz Guitar Performance at Ohio State. I have experience playing live and recording with local bands and college ensembles, playing Rock, Jazz, Blues, Funk, and R&B.

It is my belief that music education should focus on students' individual goals and aspirations, rather than a rigid program. In other words, we're going to learn the songs, genres and styles that YOU want to play. Not only will we will learn about technique, chords, scales, and music theory, but we will also apply them to your favorite songs to discover why the implecations work, and how to replicate them when composing or improvising.

What you'll need for the first lesson: Guitar, cable (if you play electric) and a binder or folder.

Lessons will be at Hughes Hall on Ohio State campus, 1899 College Rd N, 43210. There is garage and surface lot parking near by, but sometimes there is free street parking if you know where to look :)
