About
My teaching approach:
My approach to teaching is to tailor it to each students needs and learning styles. I do not offer cookie cutter lesson paths. These we be lesson from a professional bass player and educator. Not a guitarist masquerading as one. It is my goal to get you to play the bass but more importantly to enable you to create your own bass lines.
My influences are:
Jack Bruce, Willie Dixon, Roger Waters, James Jamerson, Edgar Meyer, Francois Rabbath
My guitar lessons take place in:
The teacher's studio

All lessons start with a review of what was covered the week before and any additional tweaks that might be needed be musically or technique will be addressed. We will then either add on to that material or start or new lesson path.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:
Someone who will but the time outside of the lesson to reach their goals.
