Hi! My name is Katie, and I have a passion for teaching, motivating, and making piano lessons FUN! Every student is unique and I enjoy figuring out how best to educate and motivate them. I'm constantly researching and improving myself as well to ensure each student will hit their goals. I look forward to meeting you!
Seeing my students' eyes light up along with their giant smiles when they have done something well or perfected a piece. Building confidence in my students is very special to me and I'm proud of the work I do.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching with the idea that I could teach a few students in the evenings while my kids are at home with me. I figured I'd return to my analytics career once my kids are in school. Now, I love it SO much I'm never going back! My goal is to be a piano teacher permanently.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginners and transfers of all ages!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I think it's important that you have a connection with your teacher. I typically connect with my students through fun and laughter. Piano lessons should be something the student looks foward to every week.
