Mrs. Suglio received a Bachelors of Music degree in piano performance at The University of Akron, where she studied with Dr. Mayumi Kikuchi, Laura Silverman, and Philip Nagashima. She then received a Masters of Music degree in piano performance at Kent State University, studying with Dr. Donna Lee.
Mrs. Suglio has been teaching independently for 11 years. She founded Lively Keys Piano Studio in 2013 and instructs students representing a wide range of ages and abilities. While pursuing her masters degree, she also taught in Kent State’s Teaching Institute Program, offering quality piano lessons to the Kent community and surrounding areas. Mrs. Suglio enjoys sharing her love for piano by performing for and teaching others; she continues to perform locally and hopes her students and audiences will grow in their knowledge, appreciation, love and enjoyment of music.
Mrs. Suglio strives to make music accessible for each of her students, helping them find and exceed their goals. She loves to help her students learn music they are interested in and excited about, whether classical, pop tunes, movie soundtracks, and more.
