About
Focuses on teaching music as a whole by means of piano. My main goal is to foster the natural curiosity and appreciation for learning music by answering questions and teaching relevant material, while also instructing students on fundamentals of piano performance.
I am a student of Music Performance/Music Technology at Miami University, and I have been playing piano since I was about 8 or 9 years old, and have been giving both drumline percussion and piano instruction since the age of 18.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find that it is enormously beneficial to find what musical interests the student has, including on the piano and other places.
All students are trained to listen to music more in depth, read/play sheet music, and depending on interest, how to compose musical scores/record audio.
